Matcha Taho

Taho is a popular Filipino dessert that is made with layers of silken tofu and boba, then bathed in arnibal (simple syrup). In this version, the arnibal is a Matcha syrup made using Sweetened Matcha To Go.

INGREDIENTS

  • • 1 packet Aiya Sweetened Matcha To Go
  • • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • • ¼ cup hot water
  • • ½ block of silken tofu
  • • ½ cup boba pearls, cooked per manufacturers instructions

DIRECTIONS

  • 1. In a bowl, combine Matcha packet with sugar. Mix with a spoon.
  • 2. Add hot water and mix well until everything is dissolved into a Matcha syrup.
  • 3. To serve, add spoonfuls of tofu and boba in alternating layers until your cup or bowl is nearly full. Pour the Matcha syrup on top.
