By: Aiya Japan
Naan is the bread most commonly eaten in India and Central Asia. With a beautiful light green hue, we further highlight the Matcha aroma of this naan by pairing it with a light shrimp cream stew.

DIRECTIONS
- Matcha Naan
- 1. Sift the Matcha, flour(s), sugar, and salt into a bowl, add the yeast and lukewarm water, and mix together.
- 2. Add in the yogurt and mix well. Once it comes together, continue to mix for about 5 minutes.
- 3. Once the dough is completely smooth, form it into a ball, place in a bowl, and cover with plastic wrap. Place it in a warm place and allow to rise for about 1 hour.

- 5. Lightly dust a work surface with flour and roll each piece of dough out with a rolling pin until it is thin.
- 6. Heat some vegetable oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Once it is hot enough, gently fry each side of the rolled dough in it.
- 7. Set aside until ready to eat.

- 1. Devein and remove the shells of the shrimp.
- 2. Slice the onion and mushrooms.
- 3. Melt the butter in a frying pan and sauté the onions, mushroom, and shrimp in it.
- 4. Add the flour and sauté until it starts to thicken.
- 5. Add the white wine and sauté until most of the alcohol burns off.
- 6. Add the cream.
- 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
