Matcha Blueberry Latte

INGREDIENTS

  • • 1 cup blueberries + more for muddling/garnish
  • • ¼ cup sugar
  • • ¼ cup water
  • • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • • ⅛ tsp vanilla extract
  • • 1 packet Sweetened Matcha To Go
  • • Milk of choice
  • • Whipped cream
  • • Mint

DIRECTIONS

  • 1. Add blueberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Stir over medium heat and bring to a low boil until the blueberries start to burst.
  • 2. Add cornstarch slurry and vanilla extract. Continue to stir and simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce is thick.
  • 3. Remove from heat. Strain the sauce and place in a squeeze bottle for convenient use. Set aside.
  • 4. Mix 1 packet of Sweetened Matcha To Go with milk of choice.
  • 5. Assembly: Muddle blueberries in the bottom of the cup. Drizzle sauce along the sides. Add ice, Matcha latte, and whipped cream.
