Matcha Latte

INGREDIENTS
- Pre-Sweetened Matcha Latte
- • 1 Aiya Sweetened Matcha To Go Stick (or 1 Tbsp Sweetened Matcha Blend)
- • 6 oz milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- Unsweetened Matcha Latte
- • 1 tsp Aiya Culinary Grade Matcha
- • 2 fl hot water
- • 6 oz milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- • sweetener (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Pre-Sweetened Matcha Latte
- 1. Add 1 Sweetened Matcha To Go Stick (or 1 Tbsp of Sweetened Matcha Blend) to 6 oz of hot or warm milk (either dairy or non-dairy).
- 2. Stir until incorporated, and use an electric hand frother to create foam.
- 3. If you have a steamer, you can also steam together 4-5 oz of cold milk or alt milk until the desired temperature – the drink should be hot to the touch but not too hot that you burn yourself. Pour into a mug and enjoy!
- Unsweetened Matcha Latte
- 1. Sift 1 tsp of Aiya Culinary Grade Matcha into an 8 oz latte mug.
- 2. Mix a small amount of hot water (about 2 fl oz) into the Matcha and use an electric hand frother to combine until no clumps remain and a nice froth has formed.
- 3. Add 6 oz of warm or hot milk (dairy or non-dairy) and mix until incorporated.
- 4. If you have a steamer, you can steam together 4-5 oz of cold milk or alt milk until the desired temperature, add to the Matcha shot, and serve.
- 5. Add sweetener to taste (if desired).
- 6. Sip and enjoy!
