Warmer weather calls for cool and refreshing beverages! Bask in the summer sun with this lightly sweetened Matcha Boba.


Matcha Boba

INGREDIENTS

  • Boba
  • • ½ cup boba/tapioca pearls
  • • 1-2 Tbsp honey
  • Matcha Milk Tea
  • • 1 Tbsp Aiya Ceremonial Grade Matcha
  • • 3 cups almond milk
  • • 1 ½ cup Ice
  • • Brown sugar or honey, to taste

DIRECTIONS

  • Prepare the tapioca pearls according to directions.
  • Once pearls are cooked, turn off the heat and drain the boba. Pour the cooked boba into a small bowl. Add honey to the tapioca pearls and let the pearls sit for about 5 minutes to absorb the sweetener.
  • In a blender, blend the Matcha, almond milk, ice, and your sweetener.
  • Divide the pearls between two glasses and pour the Matcha green tea.
  • Enjoy!
