  • Matcha Latte Bombs
  • • 2-10 ounce package white chocolate melts
  • • 1 Tbsp Aiya Culinary Matcha, sifted
  • • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder, sifted
  • • 6 packets Aiya Matcha To Go
  • • sprinkles (optional)
  • • ¼ cup pink chocolate melts
  • • 12 black chocolate candies
  • • 12 white confetti sprinkles
  • • 12 white nonpareils sprinkles
  • • green icing
  • • beige icing
  • To Serve
  • • 1 cup of milk

DIRECTIONS

  • Frog Marshmallows
  • 1. In a small bowl, mix the gelatin with 3 Tbsp of water. Set aside.
  • 2. In a pot, mix together the sugar, corn syrup, and water. Place over high heat. Attach a candy thermometer.
  • 3. While the sugar mixture is coming up to temperature, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar to soft peaks in a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment.
  • 4. When the sugar mixture hits 235°F, take it off the heat and mix in the gelatin.
  • 5. Slowly pour the hot sugar mixture into the egg whites and continue to beat on high for 5-7 minutes until you get stiff peaks.
  • 6. Split the marshmallow mixture in half. Mix in red food coloring into one portion. Use a piping bag fitted with a large round tip to pipe out Santa caps onto a sheet of greased parchment paper. Decorate the cap with sprinkles.
  • 7. Mix sifted Culinary Grade Matcha or green food coloring into the other portion of marshmallow. If the marshmallow has started to set, microwave it for 5 seconds. Use a piping bag fitted with both large and small round tips to pipe out frog-shaped marshmallows onto a sheet of greased parchment paper.
  • 8. Use black icing to draw each frog’s eye and mouth.
  • Shape the Shells
  • 1. Melt one package of chocolate. Mix in the Culinary Grade Matcha. Spoon the Matcha chocolate into semi sphere silicone molds. Coat the insides of the mold evenly with a thick layer of chocolate. Allow to harden completely.
  • 2. Melt the second package of chocolate. Mix in the cocoa powder. Spoon the light cocoa chocolate into semi sphere silicone molds. Coat the insides of the mold evenly with a thick layer of chocolate. Allow to harden completely.
  • Make the Bombs
  • 1. Fill a light cocoa shell with the contents of 1 Aiya Matcha To Go packet. Also add sprinkles if you’d like to! Finally, place a marshmallow frog inside.
  • 2. To seal a latte bomb, press the edges of a Matcha half shell gently against a warm plate. While the chocolate is still melted, immediately attach the top Matcha shell to the bottom filled cocoa shell.
  • Create Yoda’s Features
  • 1. Draw Yoda’s ears using leftover Matcha chocolate and melted pink chocolate. Allow to harden completely.
  • 2. Attach the ears and eyes to Yoda’s head using Matcha chocolate.
  • 3. Use a toothpick to apply 2 tiny dabs of icing to each eye. Attach a large confetti sprinkle and a small nonpareil sprinkle to each eye.
  • 4. Pipe green icing to create Yoda’s forehead creases, nose, and smile. Pipe beige icing to create Yoda’s scarf.
  • Enjoy Your Latte
  • 1. Melt 1 Baby Yoda Matcha Latte Bomb into 1 mug of hot milk. Mix thoroughly. Enjoy!
