Matcha Coconut Baked Donuts

These donuts are the perfect shareable treat to have in the morning or at the end of the day. A delightful combination of Matcha and coconut with the colorful addition of sprinkles.

INGREDIENTS

  • • ¼ cup unsalted butter at room temperature
  • • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • • ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • • ½ cup (70g) light brown sugar
  • • 2 eggs at room temperature
  • • ¾ cup coconut milk
  • • ¼ cup milk
  • • 2⅔ cups (341g) all purpose flour
  • • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • • ¾ tsp salt
  • • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • • 2 Tbsp Culinary Grade Matcha

DIRECTIONS

  • 1. First, preheat the oven to 42 degrees and grease the donut pan with melted butter.
  • 2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add butter, oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs and beat on high speed until creamy.
  • 3. Then, add coconut milk and milk to the mixture and beat until evenly combined.
  • 4. After, let’s add the dry ingredients! Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, vanilla extract, and Matcha to the batter. Mix on low speed until evenly combined.
  • 5. Spoon the batter into the donut pans.
  • 6. Bake at 425 degrees for about 12 minutes or until golden brown and you’re done!
